Remember there is a wealth of revision materials available on Glow Teams for all learners in the Maths and Numeracy faculty. If you are working from home your teacher will post your work on your class Team.

If you are struggling with your revision at home you can ask a teacher for help at one of our Drop-in sessions (S1-3) or at Supported Study (S4-6). You can contact your class teacher for help and support on each team too.
The Maths and Numeracy department are using Glow (Glow Teams and Glow Outlook) to continue learning at home.
Every pupil timetabled to study maths has been assigned to a Glow Team where our teachers are setting regular home learning tasks and formal homework assignments as well as providing support to the pupils within the department on a daily basis. Sometimes we will send information, such as formal assignment feedback, to pupils via Glow Outlook (pupil emails) but the majority of communication and tasks are set on Glow Teams.
Glow Teams (classes, forums and learning materials) and Glow Outlook (pupil emails) can be found on the Glow launchpad best accessed through Google Chrome. Many users find it easier to access Glow Teams through the Microsoft Teams app, which can be downloaded to desktops and mobile devices. Every pupil in the school has a Glow login and help with Glow can be found here.
All pupils have access to materials for at home study and revision on Glow Teams.
Pupils who are unable to access this should see their teacher who will remind them how to access Glow Teams.

This morning we had our annual S3 Maths Challenge. Pupils had fun completing rounds including group logic questions, tower building, sudoku and a team maths relay.
The winning group were Connor, Stephanie, Natalie, Jamie, Ryan and Callum! Well Done!

Today is Pi Day and pupils in S1-S3 have been celebrating by learning about irrational numbers, having pi recitals and competing in Pi Dingbat competitions.
Pupils in the Maths department have had fun learning about Fractions, Decimals and Percentages this week. As part of this they took part in a competition combining maths with Modern Art inspired by the work of Ellsworth Kelly. Our S1 winner was Jacky Luo, pictured with our S1 class winners Emily Findlay, Aaron Craig, Logan Lambert and Isabelle Costea.
All pupils now have target-setting and exam feedback sheets following last week’s exams.
