P6 Clyde in the Classroom

The whole class enjoyed looking after the brown trout before releasing them into the Clyde river. Everyone took on many responsibilities such as feeding the fish, checking the temperature and even removing the dead eggs from the tank (luckily, there weren’t that many). Primary 3 Looking for Forces

Primary 3 really enjoyed the first afternoon of our new science topic, Forces. We learned what a force was and then identified push and pull forces around  the school. We were able to use digital technology to record the examples we could find. We are looking forward to exploring how forces can be changed next week.

Rookie Rockstars Day 3

Another great morning was had with our fantastic Rookie Rockstars. Today, the teachers breathed a sigh of relief when they managed to escape the challenge, as the challenge was set for the boys vs girls. Rookie Rockstars Day 1

No Monday morning blues this week! By 9:30 the whole school was moving and singing to 2 new rock songs and a melody of favourite tunes. Today’s challenge: How many marshmallows can you put into your mouth and still sing? The challenge was between Ash (one of the Rookie Rockstars) and Miss Clarkston. Primary 4 Viking Art

Glasgow School Trip

Primary 3 had a wonderful day visiting Glasgow to finish off our Glasgow in the Past topic. We visited the Riverside Museum, where we found out about how vehicles have changed over the decades.
