Glasgow School Trip

Primary 3 had a wonderful day visiting Glasgow to finish off our Glasgow in the Past topic. We visited the Riverside Museum, where we found out about how vehicles have changed over the decades. We even explored a Glasgow street from the past and had a wee look oot doon the watter at the River Clyde and famous Glasgow landmarks. The bus driver took us on a tour of Glasgow before our final destination, The People’s Palace. The boys and girls participated in a fun workshop, finding out about artefacts from the past and how they compare to objects we use now. We looked at the steamie and a singl-end room. Most of us were glad that times have changed, especially when it comes to needing the toilet or having a bath!
