Today whilst many of the Primary 7 pupils were out of school we took on the responsibility of classroom monitors and helped look after classes during a wet lunchtime. Most of us loved it; though we weren’t always listened to! At one point five Primary Ones were squashed in the play tent together, they survived the crush and came out smiling.

Primary 5 have been learning about non-renewable and renewable sources of energy. In their cooperative learning groups, they had to research one of these then produce a poster to share with the rest of the class so that we could increase our knowledge. We will finish these next week before we begin our challenge to design and make a working wind turbine.
Assembly was two days early this week because we’re having the SSPCA visit on Friday. Congratulations to those children who were presented with a certificate.
Pupils in Primary 7 have been working hard to create a timeline of events leading up to and during the second world war. They used iPads to research their own key event, recorded their findings and then selected which facts to include in their information poster. Their timeline will be displayed on the classroom wall.
P2 have done an amazing job with all the effort they have put into their 3D Sea Life habitats made out of junk modelling. Look closely, can you name the animals and plant life you see in their wonderful creations? Wonderful work P2 and thanks to everyone at home who helped too!
Today we had the excitement of carving a pumpkin and writing instructions to tell others how to do it. We were trying very hard not to miss out any steps and write in time order. Every week we self or peer assess our writing to give ourselves both positive feedback and next steps to work on. We are becoming much better at doing this. Great job primary 3!
