French Champions Leadership Group

Today in our French Champions Leadership Group we had some visitors. Amy and Beth from Uddingston Grammar School visited to help us learn about pets. Class Certificates

We managed to have our assembly this morning before everyone had to go home early. Congratulations to the children who received a certificate. The children in P4-7 also enjoyed their Financial Education this week which culminated in a quiz to test their acquired knowledge today. Enjoy some fun in the snow boys and girls!

P7 Maths Carousel

P7 enjoyed a carousel of learning activities to consolidate their times tables. Pupils rotated around four stations: IPads using ‘Hit the Button’ game; Times table written challenge; Snakes and Ladders multiplication game and peer assessment of each other saying their times tables. Striking and Fielding in P1

In Primary 1 we have been developing our striking and fielding skills.  Today we used balloons in our PE lesson to further develop our skills and make striking and fielding a little easier.  We were fielding by throwing our balloons towards a target.  We were striking the balloons using our hands and bats.   We had great fun and only a few balloons went pop!  

Primary 2 and 3’s Christmas Party

Primary 2 and Primary 3 had a blast at their Christmas party with party games and prizes! We did pass the parcel, Christmas Corners, The Grand Old Duke of York and even did the conga back to class. Hockey in Primary 2

Primary 2 enjoyed their first hockey lesson with our coach John.  They were learning how to hold the stick correctly and safely as well as dribble the ball with control. Primary 3 Multiplication

Today we started a new maths topic about multiplication. We were learning how multiplication and addition are friends. We used cubes as buttons on our snowmen to show visually how to multiply by 2 and how this links to addition. Did you know? 2×3=6 so 3×2=6 and 3+3=6 We have learnt so much already!

Multiplication in P5

Primary 5 are learning their six times table this week. They have enjoyed a selection of activities to reinforce their learning, including using our new class I Pads.
