Hope – Takeaway Productions Workshop (P4-7)

P4-7 participated in a drama workshop this afternoon delivered by Takeaway Productions. Pupils enjoyed watching a very important production about the concept of bullying and then took part in a workshop afterwards to discuss the content and think about how the story ends. P6 Drama

Today it was time for some drama linked to our Titanic topic. Can you tell the difference between which ‘still images’ show  surprise and amazement at seeing the Titanic for the first time and those that show the joy turning to sadness with the loss of loved ones.

P3/6 School Trip

Today we had a great trip out to Sealife at Loch Lomond Shores. Primary 6 participated in a ‘Food Chain’ workshop learning what would happen to sea creatures if there was a break in the link of the food chain. To demonstrate this we were asked to be different creatures. You may not know it but you are looking at plankton, crabs, sharks…!

P6 Maths

This afternoon we rotated around different 3D shape activities. Constructing cubes and other shapes with polyhedron, using squared paper to draw and cut out nets but the one that pupils were most excited about was making solid shapes out of playdough.

P6 Outdoor Theatre

In pairs or trios some of the pupils in P6 wrote plays to create an alternative twist in the plot of ‘Why the Whales Came’. Over a couple of weeks they wrote different acts and included stage directions.
