P5 Rugby

P5 enjoyed a rugby taster session delivered by coaches from Uddingston Rugby Club. They learned new skills and had a lot of fun at the same time!

P5 Gymnastics

Primary 5 have enjoyed progressing their ‘mirror, match and in canon’ movements onto the apparatus. They worked with a partner on different pieces of equipment to show a variety of balances and skills. The wall bars were certainly popular!! Well done children 🙂  

P5 Matching, Mirroring and In Canon

This morning P5 started a new gymnastics block in P.E. They worked with a partner to match and mirror each other’s actions and movements. They then worked in small groups to perform movements in canon ~ one at a time. Next week they will progress to using these 3 techniques on the apparatus. Great work P5!

Rights Respecting School Leadership Academy

Thank you very much to Mrs Millar who came in to speak to our RRS Steering Group about her amazing job. Mrs Millar works for Clic Sargent which is a charitable organisation that supports young people who have cancer. Over the last couple of weeks Primary 6 have participated in a wide variety of healthy activities. P3 Volleyball

Hope – Takeaway Productions Workshop (P4-7)

P4-7 participated in a drama workshop this afternoon delivered by Takeaway Productions. Pupils enjoyed watching a very important production about the concept of bullying and then took part in a workshop afterwards to discuss the content and think about how the story ends.
