We are now back from Kilbowie and settled back into the school routine.  Our Kilbowie experience was terrific, I was really proud to accompany our P7 pupils who were all a credit to themselves, their parents and our school.  Their attitude, behaviour, effort and determination were first class.  Well done to all of you!   Also a big thank you to Mr O’Raw and Mrs Longmuir who gave up their time last week to make the trip possible.  They also made sure everyone had fun with their great enthusiasm and good humour throughout the week.  The P7 pupils are currently putting together a display board with photos and reflections about their week which you will be able to see at Parents’ Evening.

This week we have lots to keep us busy with –

The 8.25am Lenten Mass,

Fair Trade fortnight activities,

Walk to School Week,

P3 First Reconciliation at 7pm on Tuesday,

Dental checks for P1 & P7 on Tuesday,

The Communities group visit to the North Motherwell Community Cafe

and P6 will have another opportunity to go curling on Friday.

At the moment we are also enjoying seeing our pupils’ kitchen area come together.  Work started last week and is now nearly completed.  We are really looking forward to the children having lots of opportunities to develop their cooking skills.

This Friday we will aslo have our awards assembly, please continue to encourage your child to do their best everyday.
