We have had a fabulous week in St Bernadette’s with lots of successes to celebrate!  Firstly, congratulations to all the children who performed so well at the NLC Speech and Drama Festival on Wednesday.  Our children entered 6 out of 8 categories and had first place in all six of those categories.  What an outstanding achievement! Thank you to Mrs Collins for her talent, time and dedication in preparing the children.  The children will now compete at the finals today.  I’m confident of even more success.

It was very exciting today in assembly as we had the draw for the I-Pad Mini – The lucky winner drawn by Fr. Stephen was Mrs Sneddon, Jonathon’s mum.  Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, we managed to raise over £250 for school funds!

Seeing everyone in dressed in pink today was a real treat.  The children look fabulous and have raised over £150 for Cancer Charities.  Well done to the Health Committee for organising the event and decorating all the cakes.

A big well done also to our H Factor Award winners for this week.  I am so proud of all our children who consistently give of their best.

Finally congratulations to the many, many children across the school who have stayed on green for the entire term.  It is a wonderful achievement and the children should be very proud of themselves.  To mark their achievement they have all been presented with a Go for Green St Bernadette’s pencil.
