P5/6/7 Owl inspired artwork
P5/6/7 used their visit from the ‘World of Wings’ to inspire their latest artwork! They explored line and pattern to create these wonderful owls.
P5/6 Football Festival
Our footballers joined other teams in the Airdrie cluster to play 7 a side football. The children played well and were praised for their behaviour, positive attitude and good sportsmanship.
Whitelees Wind Farm
P5/6/7 visited the wind farm as part of their investigation of renewable energy.

Netball
Trip to New Lanark
As part of our social studies primary 5/6/7 visited The New Lanark Heritage Site. Â A most enjoyable day was had by all. The children were able to experience what it was like to live in New Lanark in the early 19th century.
Funtime Maths Roadshow
We ended our numeracy & maths week on a high when primary 3 – 7 enjoyed a visit from Stem Ambassadors, Mr & Mrs Lyden. They had great fun doing a wide variety of maths puzzles.

P5/6 Football Festival
Meet the team !
We took part in the first fixture of the P5/6 football festival at Airdrie Academy. We were joined by teams from Tollbrae PS and other schools in the cluster and had great fun despite the heavy rain.
I am experiencing enjoyment and achievement on a daily basis by taking part in different kinds of energetic physical activities of my choosing, including sport and opportunities for outdoor learning, available at my place of learning and in the wider community. HWB 2-25a
