Our chicks will be strong enough to be rehomed very soon. We have loved caring for them and watching them grow and change.
Look at them now !

The children have been enjoying their first few sessions and our coach Shirley has been teaching them how serve.
Glow is a safe and secure website that can be accessed by all pupils and members of staff in Scottish schools who have a username and password. So you can imagine how very proud we all were today to see Ellis’s painting of our school on the Glow login screen. Mrs Donnelly submitted a copy of the painting to the Glow site just a few days ago and was absolutely delighted that it was posted on the site today !
We were delighted to come into school this morning to discover we had three new chicks in our hatchery. During the school day the children of P1/2 were able to witness the hatching of another chick taking our total to 4 ! I wonder how many we will have by tomorrow ?
Primary 1/2 are mother hens for the next fortnight ! As part of our Science focus we have received 10 eggs to care for from Living Eggs – Scotland. We will be watching their progress and caring for the new arrivals. Mrs Donnelly has set up a camera day and night so that we don’t miss the big moment when they hatch ! Watch out for our film appearing soon on the blog.
A big thank you to the Parent Council for organising the Valentine disco!
The Parent Council donated t-shirts and all children wore their designs on the night. All children had great fun, dancing and playing party games. They had the opportunity to make their own Valentine cards and had lots of treats to take away with them.
