Primary 1-4 have been learning about Shrove Tuesday and why we eat pancakes on this day! After writing a little bit about it in their jotters, the children then had the chance to choose some happy and healthy toppings for their pancakes! After that, they read ‘Rhino’s Don’t Eat Pancakes!’ and designed their own Wanted posters to help find the missing, pancake loving, purple rhino!
A huge thank you to our Parent Council for organising such a fun and successful Valentines Disco! Here are some pictures from the night! We don’t know who had more fun, the children or the adults!?!
Primary 1,2,3,4 were lucky enough to visit Vikingar in Largs, as part of their Viking topic! They got to see what it was like inside a Viking Longhouse, meet some of the Viking Gods and even had the chance to protect themselves in battle from a Viking warrior! Oh, and before the children went home, they had some outdoor fun in a local swing park! Here are some pictures of our trip!
