Arran class participate in Scouts every Wednesday afternoon, we are working hard towards our badges, recycling, special achievement, cycling and photography badges.

Celebrating Holi

Zoo Lab visits Arran Class
Last week the pupils got to see and touch some animals and creatures from the Zoo Lab.

Art at Irvine Royal
Some of our pupils attend Irvine Royal Academy on a Monday morning to take part in Art classes. Here are some pictures of the very creative boxes and fish dishes we have been making. The pupils are looking forward to taking their work home at the end of the year.
Our next step is to paint our master piece. Keep a look out for finished article.
Centre Stage come to Haysholm
Over the last year Centre stage has been visiting Haysholm encouraging our pupils to become confident individuals, by taking part in dance and drama. here are some pictures of our pupils enjoying drama and dance.

Scouts come to Haysholm
Today pupils in Arran and Bute class started their first session of the Scouts. Our Scout leader explained about the badges we will be working towards, some of the badges we will participate in will be swimming, walking, cooking, gardening and many more in the forthcoming weeks.
Celebrating Holi the colour festival.
Today Arran class watched a video about Holi which is a festival of colour celebrated by the Hindu religion. We then painted lovely bright pictures with lots of different coloured paint.

Arran class have very been busy rehearsing for our 40 th Anniversary Celebrations, all children have excelled in their performance skills . Our theme is the 80’s and our chosen song is Uptown Girl, (and we have definitely got the perfect candidate) .

Arran Outing and Rehersals
Arran class visited Hansel Village Thursday 21st January, we had a lovely morning all together, DL took everyone’s order. DL also helped to collect snacks and pay for our drinks and snacks. We also visited the party shop in Kilmarnock where the pupils helped to choose a 40th candle for our Birthday celebrations next week.
Our rehearsals are well on their way for our Special day next week Tuesday 26 th January at St Mary’s Church .
