Good morning Skye class

Good morning Skye class, I hope you are all well! 🙂

I have added some visuals, songs and fun activities for all of you to do at home and learn about the different days of the week and the weather. I know all our Skye class boys and girls like to have messy hands and explore, so let’s have some fun! 🙂

The following attachments you can cut them and use them at home. If you have bricks at home, you can cut the weather visuals, stick them on bricks and be creative!

You can explore different coloured objects by looking, touching, smelling and tasting to experience the different days of the week. You can use different colours and tools to paint and make sensory materials.

  • Look out for red, orange, green, blue, pink, purple or brown things that you may have at home. It doesn’t need to be food only, it can be a box, a fabric, something from the garden.
  • You can use paint, food colouring and/ or make sensory play objects. I have attached photos of you to make them.

Some examples: Monday: tomatoes, ketchup, Tuesday: oranges, carrots, Wednesday: leaves, a tree in your garden, a green t-shirt, Thursday: ice, Oreos (as the packet is blue), Friday: the smell of a hand cream, soap in a pink bottle, mix strawberries with milk, Saturday: blue and red can make purple, purple paint, Sunday: soil, brown bread.

Have a lovely day and stay safe at home! We all miss you 🙂
