Thank you for a fabulous turnout to support our Early Years Sport Day!
We have been developing our memory and sequencing skills. These are key skills in the development of early reading and writing.
We can identify missing/matching items and remember where items are placed.
We can discuss events and characters in a story.
We can retell/sequence a story.
The most popular stories recently have been the ‘Disgusting Sandwich’ and ‘My Granny is a Pirate’.
Fun in the Snow. 🙂
We discussed the temperature and used our shoes, legs and sticks to measure how deep it was,.
We tried hard to make a snow man and snow angels!
We have been learning about the letters in our name. We spoke about straight lines, curved lines and squiggly lines.
We compared size and found that Alexander has the longest name and Skye has the shortest name.
Liam said “…our name has the same L in it.”
Meet the Team 🙂
This term, Miss Lappin has joined us.
