The Pupil council committee is made up of a pupil representing each class. We have a couple of meetings each term where we come together to discuss our agenda which consists of suggestions and work to support our School Improvement Plan.
Over the past year the committee have been working through guidance from Education Scotland called How Good is OUR School? This is a self-evaluative policy that encourages pupil voice. So far, the committee have worked hard to gather evidence for Theme 1: Our Relationships, Theme 2: Our Learning and Teaching and Theme 4: Our Health and Wellbeing. The pupil council have had the opportunity to share our work with Mr MacDougal our senior manager by being part of focus groups during his visits.
