What are the school times?

Primary 1 have a soft start from 8.50am until 9.00am.  Children enter through the Primary 1 door at the back of the playground.  They are collected at the end of the day at the same door.

Start time 9.00 am

Morning break 10.40 am – 10.55 am

Lunch time 12.30 pm – 1.15 pm

Finish time 3.00 pm

What can my child bring as a snack?

Primary 1 pupils can take a little longer to eat their snack so to ensure that they have time for a play with their friends, we recommend one small healthy snack such as a piece of fruit or a cereal bar.

Are they allowed to bring a drink into the class.

Pupils across the school should bring a filled water bottle, labelled with their name, to school each day.   Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day and we have water stations for children to top up their bottles should they require.  Bottles should have water only, juice can spoil pupil’s work if spilled and childsmile advise that regular juice drinking throughout the day is not recommended due to the impact on tooth enamel.
