Technology Extras:
By now, you should have received your Glow user name and password from the school (if not, please contact the school office for further support with this). Glow not only gives you free access to the Microsoft Office suite but it also gives us a range of other ways to safely communicate with one another. If you have not yet accessed your child’s Glow account you may find this a useful link in explaining how to do so:
You will be sent an e-mail from your P1 class teacher(s) which will give you their e-mail address(es) and another means to get directly in touch with them.
This week we are introducing our class ‘Teams’. Microsoft Teams is a secure platform we are using to further improve communication between teachers, pupils, parents and carers. If you have not yet registered your child with Glow (see above) you will need to do so before you can access Teams. Our P1 class Teams have already been set up for you and you can connect by following the instructions in the video link below. This page allows the class to use a chat room to speak directly to one another.
We would also like to ask for your assistance in completing a short survey (approx. 3 minutes) to provide us with some feedback about the methods of support we have been trying to provide you with during school closures. You can use the link below to access it.
