Extra-curricular Activities
The school is involved in various extra-curricular activities throughout the year. We work closely with a number of partners to offer our children opportunities beyond the school curriculum.
Active Schools support us to provide sports and fitness opportunities during the school day, at lunch-time and after-school throughout the year. These include:
Sportshall Athletics Cross-country Multi-sports for infants Football Netball
We are very lucky to have the support of our Cluster High School, Notre Dame. NDHS Sports Leaders also support our sporting opportunities.
We are very well supported by Inverclyde Music Services. Our staff work closely with the staff from IMS to ensure a variety of opportunity for our pupils in music. We have music instruction on offer to our P5-P7 pupils:
Brass (Mr Digger) Violin (Mrs McColl) Singing (Mrs Wilson) Cello (Mrs Anderson)
The Youth Music Initiative also support our school by offering Bucket Drumming workshops to our P5s.
The Diocese of Paisley have offered our P4s choral instruction too and we hope to start a choir after school with our Cluster School friends.
We normally have a range of entries in the Inverclyde Music Festival each year too.
