Child Protection

CHILD PROTECTION

In St Patrick’s, all staff have a responsibility to safeguard and protect our children.  Safety is our first priority in our responsibility of Getting It Right For Every Child.

Any staff, visitors to the school, or parents/carers who have any concerns about a child’s safety or welfare should report concerns directly to:

  • Mrs Doherty (Head Teacher and Child Protection and PREVENT Co-ordinator)
  • Mrs O’Neill (Depute Head Teacher and Depute Child Protection Co-ordinator)
  • Mrs Campbell (Principal Teacher)

If none of the Senior Leadership Team are available then please direct concerns to Clerical Staff who will ensure concerns are passed on to the SLT as soon as possible.

  • School Phone Number:  01475 715696
  • School Email:  office@st-patricks.inverclyde.sch.uk

IF A CHILD IS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE POLICE.

Please see our Child Protection Poster for more details about what you can do, and who you can contact, if you are concerned for the safety or welfare of any of our children.
