Hello, my name is Teri, and I am delighted to be the Family Support Worker at King’s Oak Primary School again this year. I work for Barnardo’s Nurture Services, and my role is to offer support to children and families within our school community.

I am here to provide a listening ear, guidance and practical support on a wide range of topics including mental health and wellbeing, establishing routines, sleep, managing boundaries and the everyday challenges that can come with parenting.

My aim is to work alongside families to help them feel supported and confident in meeting their children’s needs.

Every family faces challenges from time to time and sometimes it can help simply to have someone to talk things through with. Whether you are looking for advice, support with a specific concern, or just a friendly, non-judgemental space to chat, I am here to help. Please feel free to get in touch with the school to discuss support.
