Parent Partnership

At Bluebird Family Centre we believe that parents and families are the most important influences in a child’s life and therefore we encourage your support in your child’s education.

The engagement of parents and families helps to raise attainment and ensures a collaborative approach to your child’s learning.  At nursery we will build on the experiences your child has already learned at home and at home parents and families will be involved in further developing the learning that takes place in the nursery.

Regular Parent meetings are held throughout the year to provide updates on children’s learning. Parents are also able to speak to their child’s key worker at any time should they so wish, we pride ourselves on open communication with families.

There will be opportunities for parents to be involved in the day to day running of the nursery in line local authority guidance such as, parents in the playroom, fundraising opportunities and celebrating special occasions. Parents will also be invited to information events, parent’s afternoons/evenings to keep up to date with their child’s learning and development.

Parents are also encouraged to express their views throughout the year via questionnaires, survey monkey and our  ‘we asked, you said, so what?’ evaluation procedure. This allows us to continue to strive to be the best we can be.
