Outdoor Learning

Outdoor Learning promotes curiosity and enables children to develop their confidence,  self-esteem,  language and problem solving skills in a natural environment.

At Bluebird Family Centre we value the importance of outdoor learning and we ensure that all of our children have maximum opportunities to engage in rich outdoor play. Our outdoor space provides opportunities for children to develop a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world. We are keen for children to develop their understanding of how to grow produce for snack and look after our plants as well as developing skills to assess and manage risk, exploring  mud kitchens, den building and developing our physical skills.

Children will be encouraged to access outdoor learning in all weathers, nursery fleeces and waterproofs are provided for all children.
