The STEM Nation Award was developed by Education Scotland to celebrate, promote and build on effective practice in STEM education within and across sectors. The programme is currently open to all early learning and childcare settings, primary schools and secondary schools in Scotland. Community learning and development organisations will soon be able to participate in the new CLD STEM Nation Award programme.
The Young STEM Leader Programme (YSLP) was developed by SSERC and aims to spark interest and participation in STEM among young people in Scotland. The programme is available for learners working at CfE Second, Third and Fourth levels and SCQF levels 4, 5 and 6. YSLP can be delivered in primary schools, secondary schools or community and youth group settings.
