SSERC: N5 Laboratory Science

- This is a one part, two-day course with some additional online modules that aims to cover most of the practical work included in the National 5 Laboratory Science course.
The N5 course provides “a broad experiential introduction to laboratory science”.
Our course will support the development of the basic practical skills and knowledge needed for working in a laboratory: measuring, weighing and preparing compounds and solutions; and health and safety requirements. Along with practical skills in microbiology, measuring radioactivity, chemical handling and laboratory instrumentation.
Course dates: 11th – 12th December 2024Closing date for applications: 1st November 2024Additionally to the two days at SSERC there is a commitment to complete some online modules prior to attending the course in December.
