We were lucky to have our local Fire Brigade come for a visit to the nursery. The firefighters showed us their fire engine and we got to see all the important equipment they use when helping in emergencies. The children had opportunities to sit at the back of the fire engine and have a go at holding the hose and spraying water in the car park. The firefighters gave the children a talk about what they do and how they can help in an emergency. Some of the children tried on the firefighter uniform.
