As part of our monthly planning to learn about the important roles people play in helping us during emergencies, we were pleased to welcome PC Arthur, our Campus Police Officer, for a special visit.
PC Arthur spoke to the children about the role of the police, how they help to keep us safe, and the different ways we can contact them if we ever need assistance. This developed the children’s understanding of their importance of safety in our community.
The children also had the opportunity to look at some of the equipment used by police officers, including trying on handcuffs!, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

We were lucky to have some of the P6 pupils from Largs Primary come down to the nursery and read the children some stories and join in play with the children.
