We have develop links with Care2Knit; they are a local community group run in the community by some lovely people who knit items for Children in the Gorbals area.  We have been the very grateful recipient of some wonderful knitted items (A Big Thank You – to Irene, Cathy, and Peggy for the lovely cosy hats and scarves) that were delivered to Adelphi Nursery.

One of the ladies who donated to us was 95 years young!

We have had knitted items that the children have been making good use of in our Home Corners and recently Feb 24 received some beautiful brightly coloured blankets for our reading and story areas.

Keep Scotland Beautiful

As part of Keep Scotland the children are taking part in regular Litter Picks and we will be working with Gorbals Housing during Spring 2026.

The children visit the Care Home on weekly basis.  A small number of children will go with their Keyworkers to visit play games, songs with elderly relatives.
