What a week!

This week has been packed full of exciting things! We have had Parent’s Evening, which was a lovely chance to meet all the mums and dads again and tell them how amazing the whole class is, but we have also had lots of great things happening in school too.

First of all a visitor came in and told P1 and P1/2 a story in Mandarin (with a bit of help for us!):

Some of the boys and girls have been using their engineering brains to build even in their free time. Take a look at these straws! (Skyla’s was as tall as Mrs McGloughlin, who lots of people think is a giant!)

Finally we have begun construction of our playground to help all of our fairytale characters. So far we have a swing under construction, as well as a completed slide and seesaw. The class have been working hard on their teamwork skills and using all that they have learned to create these wonderful creations.

I can’t wait to see what next week brings!
