We had a fun time!

This week was another busy one with lots to report!

Charlie did a fabulous job of showing us some of his toys and how they move.

We started to plan a science experiment and because there was so many great ideas, we are now going to build 3 ramps for the cars!

Three people in our class earned certificates from different staff members this week so well done to them!

A big thank you as well to all who brought in their donations for the Christmas Fayre, they are much appreciated.

Everyone made road safety posters in Art on Thursday and they were amazing! Everyone listened very carefully to instructions and produced fantastic, detailed pictures!

Thank you to the gym across the road for the water bottles! (Iyla) Everyone really likes them – if you are using them in school, please write your name in permanent marker so they don’t get lost.

We built a tower! (Joel)

We built a tower house! (Ayoub)

We were talking about our favourite toys this week, in preparation for a design project we are going to be working on:

I play with Shimmer and Shine! (Lamar)

I like to play with my dinosaur. (Abdulrahman)

I like to play with my car. (Joel)

I like to play with my Barbie. (Iyla)

I like to play with my cars too. (Charlie)

At Golden Time today several people made pictures of fireworks they had seen last weekend:

Even Brian the Bear got to use our Creation Station before Iyla and Tala put him on a time out! He made a snake:

Welcome back!

We have had a really busy couple of weeks and jumped straight back into our work so this has been our first chance to post!

We have been learning about toys and pushing and pulling (Iyla). These are part of learning about forces (Yashvardhan). I like pushing and pulling the cars (Lamar).

This afternoon we went to the library. It was our second visit to the school library. We had fun (Skyla). We choose books to read and take home (Iyla). Some people didn’t get books this week because they forgot their folders (Abdulrahman). It is a new activity so we all need to remind each other about it.

We made a toy snake this week. We used old cardboard tubes (Tala). We coloured them in (Cleo). We put string through the tubes so that we could move it (Skyla).

See you next time!
