As promised, pictures of our spectacular straw houses! We tried to make them just like the one in the Three Little Pigs story, which meant the roof needed to blow off. Unfortunately 2 of the groups ran out of huff and puff before they could blow the roof off their houses so only one group was totally successful at reaching their aim. However, as you can see, some of the groups got very invested in their houses, even creating gardens and chimneys!
Everyone enjoyed making these and can’t wait to attempt the next challenge; can you guess what it might be?
Meanwhile Iyla brought in a fabulous trophy to show the class on Friday. She got it for dancing (although she decided not to demonstrate any for us just yet!). We did all try and copy the pose from the trophy, with varying degrees of success!
After this we also started to build straw houses like the ones in the Three Little Pigs story! Unfortunately they are not finished yet, but we will post pictures when they are!
