P1a Halloween Fun

P1a had a super visit from Donald the zoologist this morning. They learned all about ‘Halloween animals’ and had lots of fun learning about bats amazing hearing and all about other nocturnal animals.

In the classroom the children enjoyed making bright pumpkins and saving the sounds from the spiders web.

Then in the afternoon we had a visit from primary 5 who read us their spooky halloween stories – they were super!

Special Visitors in P5a

Primary 5 had a great morning when Donald (zoologist) and Fran from Wildside Nature came to visit. They talked to us about Halloween animals including bats, owls and spiders. We learned a lot about these animals and it was a brilliant outdoor and science lesson.
