The Top-Up programme is designed to prepare pupils who are considering applying to further study at college or university to apply, gain entry and succeed at any of the FOCUS West partner institutions across Scotland. Successful participants may also benefit from an adjusted offer of entry to these colleges and universities. S5 and S6 pupils take part in 10 in-schools sessions between November and March and a campus session, participating in a lecture, seminar, lab and student life workshop. Pupils also complete a written assignment from a choice of 5 academic subjects.
