‘Next Steps Options Letter’ & Online Request Form

On Friday 13.02.26we will issue all S3 pupils their ‘Next Steps’ Options Choice Letter. A sample of this letter can be seen here:

Each letter is individually created and sets out:

• What pupils have identified as possible options previously
• What teaching staff advise are appropriate pathways
• Individualised advice as to how to access choices available on the pathways menu
• How to access support through a pastoral care consultation

The letter will be emailed to pupils directly through their ‘Glow’ Outlook account. The physical letter will be handed out the following week and we will post this home for anyone not in attendance.

Online ‘Next Steps’ Options Request Form:

Also on Friday 13.02.26, as the ‘Next Steps’ letter is distributed, we will also open our online options request form. This is located below and opens 13.02.26 at 4.00pm. It will be open until Monday 09.03.26. In this form, pupils can confirm their options requests, or notify us that they would like an options consultation.

If pupils wish to have a consultation, we would ask that they use the form to arrange one by Monday 23.02.26.
