At Hillhead High we are dedicated to supporting our young people throughout their time in school to enable them to reach positive and sustained destinations when they leave us. We work together to facilitate our learners in the development of career management skills and we support our young people throughout their journey. Every pupil has a strong support network including their Depute Head, Pastoral Care teacher, Principal Teacher of Skills and Achievement, Principal Teacher of Raising Attainment, SDS Careers Advisors, who will help to guide and support our learners onto the right career pathway for them.

Before making subject choices for S4 and S5 every young person has a one to one meeting with their Pastoral Care teacher. They are also invited to discuss their options choices with our Career Advisor to ensure they make the appropriate subject selections for their chosen career path.
