Health and Wellbeing

In Croftcroighn Primary we put the Health and Wellbeing of our pupils and staff at the forefront of our curriculum. Providing opportunities to learn more about themselves and their families and recognising photographs about themselves to help them make sense of the world around them, and build on their confidence of who to go to if they need help.

Important life skills like dressing themselves, brushing their teeth, and using the toilet / good personal hygiene are at the heart of our everyday routines and everyday learning.

We have a swimming pool in school for pupils to have fun with water play, and explore their bodies in space. Many of our pupils have a timetabled slot in the pool with friends from their class.

Our pupils have opportunities to explore foods with their senses, as well as planting and nurturing plants to grow foods.

Class Lochend harvested our potatoes and used them in their cookery lesson.
