This week Billy was graded in his Taekwondo class. He passed his grading and achived his white and red striped belt. Taekwondo is a Korean martial art. It was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by various Korean martial artists. Well done Billy. We are very proud of you!
Celebrating Success In Primary 3
Today we celebrated success in our classroom. Ella and Dylan were awarded with a certificate from Sky Academy for their participation in our Sky Academy Project. Tony won Star of the Week for improved effort in maths. Kelsey was awarded a Special Award for being a model pupil and always trying her best.
Dogs Trust Visit
Today the Dogs Trust visited Balornock Primary. We met Alfie the dog and his owner Allison. We learned how to care for a dog and even got to teach Alfie some tricks. Here are some pictures of us during the visit.
Rookie Rockstar Reunion Tour
We all had a fantastic time at the Rookie Rockstar Reunion tour. We rocked out to some old classics and some more familiar jams from our recent Rookie Rockstar concert. Thank you to the Rookie Rockstars Team for making it a memorable day for us all.
Guess Who Is Back!!!!
The Rookie Rockstars will return to Balornock Primary School tomorrow for a one off reunion concert. We are looking forward to welcoming them back to our school and we can wait to see what surprises they have in store for us.
Primary 3’s Successful Assembly
Primary 3 were outstanding at their assembly today. They shared their learning about bullying with their audience, remembered all of their lines and had a fantastic time performing. Well done Primary 3. We are very proud of you all.

Our Trip To Sky Academy
Today some boys and girls from P1 to P6 got to visit Sky Academy. The children got to visit behind the scenes on an exclusive tour of Sky Studios in Livingston and worked with all the latest technology to make their own TV report in Sky Skills Studios. They made a video report of our Big Balornock Story – Forgetful Hamish, that was created by the whole school as part of our Literacy Week.
