What a morning at Blairvadach on day 2 of our trip. We have woken up to sunshine and an amazing view. The boys and girls are participating in lots of different activities today including cycling, canoeing and climbing. Here are a few snaps of some of our pupils who braved their fear of heights and scaled a very high pole.

This week in RME we looked at how we say thank you for things we appreciate. We also looked at other world religions and celebrations that allow people to be thankful. In maths we have been learning to add thousands, hundreds, tens and units. We were revising nouns, verbs and adjectives in Literacy. We played the alphabet game to remind ourselves of these. On Wednesday 15th June, The JRSO’s and STARS Team picked up their second Go Safe Glasgow Lord Provost Award! Another DISTINCTION…. for all their hard work and commitment in promoting ROAD SAFETY awareness within Balornock Primary School and the wider community.
Today we celebrated success in our classroom. Ella and Dylan were awarded with a certificate from Sky Academy for their participation in our Sky Academy Project. Tony won Star of the Week for improved effort in maths. Kelsey was awarded a Special Award for being a model pupil and always trying her best.
