We can’t believe it is our final day and time to come home! We have all had the most amazing week!! From learning new skills, facing our fears and laughing at our teachers fall in water, we have laughed from start to finish! It really has been an experience we will never forget. We are all very tired from our busy week and from last night’s disco!! Here are few highlights
We had a brilliant night at our swinging sixties disco last night! Our feet are still sore from all the dancing! A night to remember!
Here are some of our fantastic P7s with their certificates from completing their week of outdoor learning at their residential trip. We had such fun and are wishing we could do it all again!!
This term our topic is Plants and Life Cycles. We have been planting seeds in class and are carrying out an investigation growing sunflowers and will monitor their progress over the next few weeks. Here we are planting our seeds…we loved getting our hands dirty…Mrs McMillan wasn’t so keen on the mess of the soil after wards!! Hee Hee!!
This morning Primary 7 took to the streets with their litter picking equipment and worked hard in cleaning up the leftover rubbish lying around. We were over the moon when one of the council vans stopped and the worker yelled out to tell us how great it was that we were out looking after our local area and gave us a big thumps up for our efforts!! 🙂
Yesterday morning our class participated in the Race for Life, raising money for Cancer Research at Springburn Park. It was a lovely sunny morning and we were delighted to see our family and friends who came along to support us! This week P7 started their five week block of Football coaching. They thoroughly enjoyed their first session on Monday and are looking forward to developing their football skills each week!
