You may have noticed that some ‘new’ bins have recently appeared in our lunch hall?…. The Eco Heroes have decided to take steps towards helping minimise the amount of food being wasted in our school by encouraging everyone at Balornock to put on their Eco thinking caps when clearing up after they have eaten!

We now have three separate bins in our lunch hall and would encourage everyone to use accordingly. The bins we now use are for the following items:

1. Food waste
2. Plastic bottles/containers (complements of our friends in P4/3)
3. General waste

Remember to STOP and THINK about which bin you are now disposing your litter in!
