Dance project with Kate

We have started working on a dance project with Kate Deeming.

We were looking at ways that we could move our bodies through the streets of Pollokshields that were a little more exciting than just walking or running. As it was such a nice day, we decided to do this on the MUGA. Have a look at some of our work.

We also had a dance off at the end. There are definitely some great dancers in P4/5!

Our own Fashion Show

We put on a fashion show on the MUGA yesterday.

P4/5 split into teams to show how well they can work as part of a group yesterday. They had to create their own outfit and model it for the rest of the class.

They had great fun doing this and worked well together as you can see from the pictures.

Shout out to Rahib for his phenomenal modelling abilities!

Music activity

P4/5 were doing music yesterday afternoon.

We listened to the song, ‘Stand By Me’ by Ben E. King.

We listened to the voices, instruments and the style of the music and wrote down what we heard. Some of us drew pictures of the instruments we could hear.

We we then learned the lyrics so we could perform the song. We did very well for a first attempt!
