Welcome back!
We have been busy with lots of learning in our first week back including –
- writing in the past tense
- using a variety of openers in our writing to vary our sentences
- pyramid writing in spelling to help us learn our words
- revision of addition with carrying and subtraction with borrowing
- creating some Halloween themed art
- completing a KWL grid for our new Space topic
- reading and spelling our oo phonics words
- learning about scaling of feelings in PATHS (this week as like and love)
- beginning HIIT fitness work in P.E
- self and peer evaluating our goals from term 1

Miss Hewitt did not give the children instructions how to make the spider web – they were shown pictures and were to try and problem solve how to secure the sticks and string together independently… to be continued next week!
