Friday 15th May 2020

Good morning everyone,

Today marks my final day of work before I go off to prepare for the arrival of Baby Creevy. As much as this is very exciting, I’ve never wished more that we were all together celebrating in some way.

Over the next wee while, think of me as I’ll think of you and rest assured as soon as you are all back together and it is safe to do so I’ll be in to see you!

In the meantime, whilst spending time at home, it’s very important you work hard to help your parents keep the house clean and tidy.

Here are some challenges for you for over the weekend should you choose to accept.

Thursday 14th May 2020

Happy Thursday everyone.

One of my favourite things about our classroom was our lovely plants and caring for them was part of our class routine.

Over the next few weeks if you would like one of our class plants to care for at home please let me know and I will arrange for one to be dropped off with you to be returned when we return to normal again.

This would be a lovely way to stay connected to the school environment, just let me know if you’d like to take part in this.

See below for Mrs Pattie’s time lapse video of what happens when she waters her plants… it’s really interesting.

Weekend News Writing

In class 1 we print off the pictures from our weekend and share them with our friends.

Then we tell an adult what we’d like to write to accompany the picture, this can be single words or sentences depending on each individual.

Could you do this in one of your jotters? If you don’t have a printer you could draw a picture of something you did instead. Remember it will really help some of us if you dot our words for us to trace like below…

Please remember to send your photos and sentences to me so I can share with everyone later today.

10.00-10.30: If you have time you could also check out Newsround to learn more about what is going on in the world around us.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news/watch_newsround

10:30-11:15: Break Time

11:15-12:15: Maths
