Applications for the Sutton Trust Summer School at The University of St Andrews are now open.

S5 pupils can now apply for the Sutton Trust Summer School at the University of St Andrews. An experience that has been proven to be of great benefit when applying to competitive universities.

This virtual event is free of charge and held each year in order to give pupils in S5 the chance to experience a week in the life of a university student. They will engage with two academic areas of interest, take part in social activities and receive advice on UCAS related topics.

Please distribute the following information to any relevant colleagues, such as guidance teachers, as well as students you feel would benefit from this opportunity.

I will be hosting additional pupil Q&A sessions this week for those who are interested in applying, where they can learn more about the virtual summer school and hear from previous students. They can sign up for these online:

This year, the St Andrews Virtual Sutton Trust Summer School will take place on Monday 5 to Friday 9 July 2021. For information about the summer school, eligibility and how to apply please visit our website.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 16 March 2021.
