This year is a Golden Jubilee for Tulliallan, marking 50 years since the current school building opened.
Golden Jubilee Brings Community Together at Tulliallan PS & Nursery
On Friday 26th September, Tulliallan Primary School marked its 50th anniversary with a joyful day of celebrations that brought together children, families, staff past and present, and the wider community.
The day began with a special Jubilee Assembly, where invited guests and children gathered to reflect on the school’s 50-year journey and on Kincardine’s heritage. A highlight of the morning was the launch of a Jubilee Time Capsule, filled with contributions from children to give future generations a glimpse of school life in 2025.
Guests were then welcomed to a Jubilee Tea Party, enjoying tea, cake, and conversation while sharing fond memories of their time at the school.
Late morning, excitement grew as families and children joined a lively procession, led by the Boys’ Brigade Band. The music and colourful atmosphere created a real sense of occasion, and the parade was enjoyed by all who joined us. The procession culminated with the official opening of our Golden Jubilee garden by Jade and Euan, two of our parents who helped us create a new wildlife area within the school playground.
Following the procession, families gathered for a Jubilee Lunch, with children, parents, and staff sharing food and friendship together.
To complete the celebrations, the school opened its doors once more for a special Golden Jubilee Open Evening from 3.15–5pm. Community members, ex-pupils, and former staff were invited to tour the school, view displays, and take a trip down memory lane.
