Hello P7s and families!

Welcome to your final term of P7 and your very last primary school class newsletter. It is a busy term ahead with a lot of transition events and activities.

Useful information

• • iPads – ipads should be charged at home and brought to school daily.
  • Reading – In line with our new guided reading approach, children will keep reading folders and records in class, however they will have a choice of reading books to take home and enjoy with family.
  • PE days – Please wear gym kit on a Wednesday (More information about uniform expectations is on the school website).
  • Outdoor learning days – Our outdoor learning day is a Friday (9am-10.40am). Please support your children to dress appropriately for the weather: waterproofs, sun cream and sun hats may all be needed on occasion. At this time of year long trousers will be essential as there is a risk from ticks. If you are able to be a supporting adult at the woods, please get in touch.
  • Home Learning – more details will follow.
  • Water bottles are encouraged to stay hydrated during the day. They should contain water only, no juice thank you.
  • Mr Holmes strings lessons are on TUESDAY afternoon.
  • Mrs Patterson will lead the learning on a TUESDAY morning.
