Pupil Council

Our Pupil Council plays an important role in supporting the life and work of St Ninian’s RC Primary School. The group works collaboratively to plan and organise a range of popular whole-school events, including our annual Halloween Disco and Chippy Night, helping to raise funds and bring our school community together. Funds raised are used to support our pupils directly, including contributing towards Primary 7 hoodies, wet break games and new sports kit for our school teams.

Pupil Council members also gather the views of their peers by organising and supporting termly pupil feedback surveys, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to share their ideas and contribute to school improvement.

As part of their leadership work, the Pupil Council explored what SHANARRI looks like at St Ninian’s. They gathered evidence from across the school and created bright, engaging posters to share their findings, helping everyone to understand how we keep our school Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included.

Through their work, our Pupil Council members develop confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, while making a positive difference to our school community.
