Digital Learning & Innovation

Our Vision for Digital Learning and Innovation

At Parkhill Primary School, we are committed to developing confident, creative and responsible digital learners who are prepared for the rapidly changing world around them. Digital learning is woven throughout our curriculum, supporting pupils to think critically, work collaboratively and engage with technology in meaningful and purposeful ways.

As part of Fife’s Transforming Learning programme, our Primary 6 and Primary 7 pupils benefit from 1:1 iPads, giving them continuous access to powerful tools that enhance research, creativity, communication and problem-solving. This has greatly increased the opportunities we have to embed digital literacy skills across all areas of learning. Other classes are excited to move towards 1:8 iPad access in the future, allowing even more pupils to experience technology-rich learning. Click here to discover  more.

In addition to our mobile devices, we are proud to offer a well-equipped computer suite, where pupils can develop the essential digital skills needed for learning, life and work. From foundational skills to more advanced computing challenges, our environment supports every child in building the confidence and capabilities they will carry into the future.
