Hello,

We are Primary 1A from room 1. Our class teacher is Mrs Mackay.

Our gym days are Tuesday and Thursday. Please ensure names are written on all items of clothing.

Term 1:

This term we are beginning to learn our phonics sounds in literacy. We are introducing our common words and practising our pencil control.

In numeracy we are learning our numbers to 10 and understanding the value of each number and how to show these numbers in many ways. We are working on pattern, sequences and shape in maths.

Our class topic this term is ‘All About Me’. We are looking forward to learning about the each other.

We are practising our understanding and use of space in gym through Better Move Thinkers and learning how to follow instructions when playing games.

Our Outdoor Learning topic is

In Health and Wellbeing and RME we are focusing on relationships with others and values. We are learning the importance of sharing and caring for others.

We are learning some greetings in French, maybe you can help us practise at home? We are learning Bonjour for hello and Au Revoir for goodbye.
