The 4 part model is used to structure all learning experiences in Carnegie. This provides a familiar and consistent approach to learning, teaching and assessment for all children. The 4 part model consists of
- sharing of learning intention and success criteria
- learning experience
- assessment opportunities
- plenary
The children can use the language of learning to talk about their learning, how successful they are and identify next steps. This is supported by the class teacher to ensure appropriate support and challenge.
